Arima & Arima, established in 2013, specializes in lean consulting and industrial engineering, particularly Lean Time Study. Our mission is to help organizations in the manufacturing and servicing sectors enhance their operational efficiency and competitiveness through customized and unique strategies.

Arima is having highly competent and qualified engineers to undertake the Lean Industrial Engineering and other consultancy work. They have undertaken consultancy work for around 100 leading manufacturing companies and also few educational institutions and IT companies.

A business initiative that provides Lean Industrial Engineering, Human Resource Management and other Management Consultancy services to the manufacturing and servicing sectors and enable them to manage the organization and its activities using appropriate management, industrial engineering and HR tools to sustain competitiveness and achieve continual/radical improvements.
Provide consultancy support in marketing activities to enable the manufacturing/service sectors to get cost effective goods and services, provide technical support service and make them remain cost competitive.
Provide need-based consultancy services to the student community, educational institutions and the employees in the manufacturing and service sectors and assist in developing skilled human resources.

Achievement
Advised over 1000 textile mills in the areas of industrial engineering, conducted over 1500 HRD programmes, undertaken over 150 project evaluation studies, techno commercial studies, etc., relating to the textile industry. Expert in the field of industrial engineering applications, skill development, handling industry level and unit level IR issues, etc. Published several book and articles relating to textile industry, skill development, etc. Conferred with All India Best Industrial Engineer award (Ramaswamy cup) for the year 2004-05 – a life time achievement award; Lillian Gilbreth Award 2006-07, the highest award given by IIIE for achievements in IE; Outstanding Corporate Fellow Member Award 2006-07 by Institute of Engineers (India)

Dr.S.Karthi is considered by National Monitoring and Implementation unit (NMIU) for the implementation of lean manufacturing competitiveness scheme under national manufacturing competitiveness program and he is Empanelled as a Lean Manufacturing consultant under Industrial Operation Research Group (IORG) through National Productivity council (NPC)
